Educational Office Professional of the Year
Guidelines1. One candidate may be nominated by a CAEOP member or affiliate association of the current year (April 1 to March 31.) 2. THE ORIGINAL AND THREE (3) COPIES OF THE APPLICATION MUST BE SUBMITTED. DO NOT send scrapbooks, newspaper clippings, or any other materials. All materials must be submitted by the sponsoring member or affiliate at one time and no materials will be returned. 3. A $25 non-refundable fee payable to CAEOP must accompany the nomination. Fees will be used to help defray expenses. 4. Application materials must be POSTMARKED by January 14, 2009 5. All candidates and the sponsor will be notified immediately after the judges’ make their final decision. 6. An inscribed plaque will be presented to the winner at the annual conference. Certificates will be mailed to all nominees. Eligibility1. Candidate must be a current CAEOP member. 2. Candidate must be currently employed as an educational office professional or retired within the past twelve months. 3. Candidate must have been employed as an educational office professional for a minimum of three (3) years in an education institution, agency, public or private school, college or university. Criteria for Judging1. Recommendation of Sponsoring Member or Association, 30% 2. Membership/Leadership Roles in Professional Associations, 30% 3. Community/Activities/Personal Contributions and Achievements in Education (areas of impact in addition to education), 15% 4. Letters of Recommendation (three letters – one letter from supervisor), 25% Mail all materials with check for $25.00 to the following address postmarked by January 14, 2009 to:
